Job Description:
The Director of Supply Management is responsible for product expansion and team development and coordination to achieve specific performance goals for each project assignment.
The Director of Supply Management is responsible for developing short-term and long-term department strategies that enable sustainable results and improved client performance and revenue growth. You will receive a structured on-boarding plan and work closely with your manager in this competitive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with VP to enhance product offering available to the company's filing supply clients
- Work closely with VP and other team members to improve existing product offering / associated branding with existing product offering (filing supplies, label print technology, and some storage solutions)
- Develop hands-on ability to solve day-to-day operational issues
- Hire, train, manage sales support team (trainees) to perform route/catalog sales
- Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
- Organize and facilitate work team meetings across many disciplines to achieve key results
- Administer policies and procedures relative to Product Development for Records Management product and services offering for assigned area
- Conduct presentations and formal training programs specific to client relationships
- Ensure timely and effective team communication
- Enable "obstacle removal" for efficient work flow to bring new solutions for results
- Co-develop and execute department strategy
- Co-develop and execute key productivity tactics that achieve annual operating plan
- Lead effective cross-functional strategies between manufacturing, customer services, sales operations and account support
- Develop recognition programs and accountability systems that motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals
- Develop and deliver client-specific training programs tailored to specific distribution strategies
- Other duties and projects as assigned

- Demonstrated skills with product rationalization, development, rollout and support
- Flexible - willingness to work/travel evenings/weekends as needed
